I have been hitting my head on the wall with this issue.  I can not get any app to install. We have 100 licenses for all adobe apps and when I try to install a specific app, in this case, Photoshop, I get a message that the The installation failed. (See Below)

I built the package including all apps and installed it on one windows 10 PC with no issue. But when am installing it in a windows 7 64-bit PC it starts installing all the applications and at the end it fails and points me the PDApp.log location.      Does anybody know if there is an SCCM 2012 deployment guide for Adobe CC products?

I checked this guide Creative Cloud Help | Deploying Adobe packages with SCCM , but it is the old package method, prefer SCCM 2012 applications.

If no guide for SCCM 2012, is there maybe a list of detection methods for each adobe app.  (I've tried the MSI detection method, but it appears the adobe ones are wrappers, so don't work.  The only way I've found so far is to install the app, then locate the appropriate reg key under HKLM....Uninstall and use that.  It's a bit of a pain to go through and install each one just to get the reg key though.  I will have to do this for all the new deployments ( Creative Cloud) , I'll be able to use the current installs for Creative Suite, so they aren't so bad.

For anyone referencing this later, I get a "does not meet minimum requirements" message if I use the msi as the detection method.

I have tested with Photoshop (by installing and browsing to the reg key) and this resolves the "minimum requirements" issue.

An example of the reg key is this one for Adobe Web and Design Premium CS6

Looking at upgrading my plan from individual to team as I now need another person to access photoshop/lightroom, as we both use several computers was thinking the team plan would be best. However I only see the option to purchase photoshop as a single app and not Lightroom? Do they not offer Lightroom or does it include it? Am I missing something. Help!

I would like some advice based on a problem we are having on Horizon 7 RDS deployment. Illustrator and other adobe applications are only allowing run one time only. Illustrator will not run again until the horizon recomposes the desktop. We run on per user team licensing.

Do you have any recommendations in relation to deployment in this scenario?

I noticed to use on RDS you have to have an enterprise license would this be correct?

Windows server 2016 - Horizon 7 agents - using Adobe Creative cloud 2018 - log in license basis.

Whenever i try to run the cloud packager, i'm getting to 51% download and every time I get an error saying, "please check internet connection and try again". Trying again doesn't work. Internet is working fine, no errant host files or firewall blocking anywhere. Have tried from multiple locations and get the same result.

Is there a specific CC app causing the issue or just something in general? Been trying for two days now.

We have Adobe CC for Teams (32 full licenses). They are all getting emails about updates. We manage all the installs globally, as a company, but I can't seem to find a way to turn off update email notifications for all members of our company Team.

I'm trying to create packages with CCP and it keeps failing. It states "Please connect to internet and retry". I am connected and it does download several items before it fails.

I have made sure all ports are open and nothing is being blocked. I think there is an issue with Adobe's DNS entries.

My client tries to connect to ffc-crawler.oobesaas.adobe.com which is a CNAME of web-stage.corp.adobe.com. The problem is web-stage.corp.adobe.com doesn't seem to exist. I queried it against Google's DNS servers and other and all return with no result.

Any thoughts?

Please excuse this post if it has already been asked and answered but I need some help/advice....

I am desperately looking for a new animation product and I really want to look at Adobe Animate as the replacement for Flash based animation. I am currently working on outdated courseware that has embedded flash content and this content will not run on Windows 10 (current upgrade schedule see's the upgrade occurring within the next 6 months and there is a mountain of work to do).

The problem I have is that as the current network stands, Cloud Based applications are not permitted. I have heard conflicting advice as to whether or not Animate can be configured to "not" access the cloud. Some people have told me it can be configured this way and others have said no.

I have considered products that will possibly do the job instead of Animate, to the same quality, but there does not seem to be a lot out there and other Adobe products are so prevalent in so many areas, I want to reduce and possibly eliminate and risk of compatibility issues.

I need some rock solid advice on the following:

1. Can Animate be configured to be stand alone or non-cloud based configured, and

2. How would this be accomplished.

I am a new CC administrator. Last week I looked at all of the on-line help pages for creating and deploying packages. Included on the Create Packages menu screen shot shown was a Platform option, Mac or Windows.  Today I start to build my packages and the menus are different from shown and it appears I can only build the installation package that matches my OS.

Has something changed since the on-line help pages were created?  Can I create and download Mac versions on my Windows PC?

Hi All,

I am having trouble installling Update Server. Just quick recap of what I’ve done so far. I’m using Windows 2016 server with latest IIS installed. I have added ISAPI extensions and filters, added Handler Mappings for xml, crl, dmg, sig, jsom and arm extesions then added path for them to web.config file. Also added wildcard “.” to MIME Type. Created a “CCUpdate” folder in my Internet Server “root” folder. Then run AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool.exe –root=”C:/inetpub/wwwroot/CCUpdate” –fresh. It takes a very long time but it only gets to 240 out of 611 then stops with “Server not responding” error, error in 3 items. If I run it again with incremental option, it does one extra 241 out of 611 and stops. I tried many times during daytime and late in the evening but it just gets one more further and stops, my CCUpdate folder is about 148Gb but I cannot download it fully. So, I've tested that I can access some .xml files in CCUpdate folder via website, it works fine.

I tried to run AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool.exe just on Windows 10 computer as a test and it fails at the same point (240 out of 611).

Then back on Windows Server, I’ve created an “overrides” file by running AdobeUpdateServerSetupTool.exe—genclientconf==”C:/inetpub/wwwroot/CCUpdate/config/AdobeUpd ateClient” –root=”C:/inetpub/wwwroot/CCUpdate/” –url=http://webserverIP. It has generated AdobeUpdater.overrides file. I’ve opened the file and it all looks fine and all links are correct. Then I’ve copied that file to the client PC (Windows 10 64bit) to the following folders:

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\AAMUpdater\1.0\

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\UpdaterResources

Then if I open Adobe Creative Cloud app on client PC and click “Check for App Updates” I get Download Error (404).

So, I think there are two different problem. I would really appreciate if you can shed some light on where am I going wrong. Thank you.

Hi all, I am trying to package Creative Cloud Desktop for macOS and deploy via Parallels for Mac Management / SCCM. I tried using the creative cloud dmg, with the below command line, but I cannot get it to install. Our software folks provided me with a zip that appears to be a folder with a pkg file extention. Any ways, can someone shed some light as to how to deploy adobe creative cloud desktop for macos?

We've been using the RemoteUpdateManager version 2.0.0.15 without a problem on our Macs.

RUM gets called using a command like this:

/usr/local/bin/RemoteUpdateManager --productVersions=AEFT --action=install

This works fine with version 2.0.0.15. However, in RUM version 2.1.0.11 I get an error message:
