I'm wondering if others have run into this. We had created an install package for CC for Teams 2017 using the Creative Cloud Packager.
This is the first time we have tried installing the CC for Teams on a Windows 10 computer, so I don't know if this is related to Windows 10 or not. I suspect not since I found a couple old discussions regarding the 'explorer.exe' process being killed off during the package installation and this was with previous versions of CC for Teams.
Regardless, I'm wondering if others are seeing this and what, if anything, can be done to fix this problem.
Essentially during the package installation, the Task Bar (Start Menu, System Tray, etc.) disappears AND the entire desktop background disappears and goes "black".
The installation continues to run, but you have no control over the computer now.
After the installation completed, I was able to manually start the explorer.exe task, which did bring back the Task Bar, BUT, the Task Bar and Start Menu were NOT functioning. I had no other recourse than to press CTRL+ALT+DEL and select to reboot the computer.
I am hoping this is not "expected behavior" for the Adobe CC for Teams 2017 package as we find this extremely unacceptable. Basically the computer is unusable until the massive CC for Teams package gets installed AND the computer gets rebooted.
Have others ran into this and what can be done to prevent this behavior?
Thank you.
