Disc(null) required for install of packages on Mac

Hi there,

I am trying to get my ad/graphics department on board with CC.  We just got them 2 brand new iMacs (upgrading from PowerPC's) and I tried downloading the CC suite like a normal user would.  Unfortunately, downloading them hosed our network and had to be canceled.  I read about using CCP for deployment.  I downloaded the packager on my Mac at home, created the package, and threw it on an SD card.

I got into the office today and tried to install them.  I inserted the SD card and ran the install pkg that was in the Build folder.  Before the install would start, I got an error saying "Disc (null) required for install.."  What is causing this?

After doing some research, it looks like I am required to use ARD for the install.  Is this true?

We are a small company (3 Macs in the entire company), and I REALLY don't want to have to pay $80 for a program that isn't necessary (in my opinion), and I am not too confident after reading the reviews of ARD.

How else can I install the Adobe products?
