Hello,
I purchased Creative Cloud for Teams (All Apps version) and 2 licenses after the sales staff assured me that collaboration would be possible within Lightroom (desktop and mobile). From everything I have been able to surmise, this is NOT possible.
The definition of Teams and Collaboration seems to be very different at Adobe than in my mind. Hopefully I am wrong and I just have not figured it out yet.
I know that Lightroom Desktop Catalog to Lightroom Desktop Catalog collaboration or sharing etc. is not possible. I get that, sort of.
Here is a simple scenario of collaboration via Lightroom and CC Teams that I would expect and what I was led to believe possible:
I would like to be able to create a Collection of many images in LR Desktop, then sync/collaborate it to my team members (as well as private non-team members) so they can access the collaborated/synced collection on their LR mobile. For a simple example, I would like several team members to be able to browse the images, give star ratings, flag images they like, download them for use, comment etc. on their LR Mobile or CC App. Then I can view the collection on CC (desktop, web, or mobile) and their flags, stars comments etc. It would be nice to sync images back to LR Desktop and/or create a new virtual copy from the team members edits/ratings etc. At a bare minimum, I would like to be able to sync a collection and have multiple team members be able to view on their LR mobile and other Adobe mobile CC apps, and save local copies to their devices. Is that asking too much for an expensive "team" "collaboration" package?
It this is possible? Please let me know how as I cannot figure it out. I do not want to create duplicate files on my desktop machine by exporting from LR to CC Folder as that defies the definition of the whole concept of collaboration in my mind. I have DropBox for that low-end solution.
Thanks!
